I'm a full stack engineer at Direct Axis Technology in Dubai, where I own ChequeEazy. I built it from the bottom up: the desktop app, the in-house trained vision model, the backend and the infrastructure, and it's now reaching half a million dirhams in sales. Before that I was a frontend engineer at Welkin Embedded Solutions, building a fleet tracking app on top of the company's own IoT devices. I studied Computer Science and Engineering at GEC Thrissur, shipped a few Web3 projects at hackathons, and I write notes about things I figure out along the way.
ChequeEazy, zero to one
Scan any cheque, even a layout it has never seen, and an in-house trained AI finds every field and prints straight onto the leaf. I built it from the bottom up.

What I built
Desktop app
Electron app for Windows and macOS, with print-perfect output, batch printing and cheque reports.
In-house vision model
Collected and built the cheque dataset, trained the vision model and host it. It finds every field, even on layouts it has never seen.
Backend
Fastify APIs, webhooks and queues behind the app and its integrations.
Local-first sync
Built local-first on PowerSync, so the app stays fast and keeps working offline, then syncs when it reconnects.
Infrastructure
AWS, server management and database management. Everything that keeps ChequeEazy running is handled by me.
Enterprise integrations
Worked with our clients' engineers to integrate ChequeEazy with their CRM and ERP systems, and built the APIs and support pages for it.
